Thus when this 3D Yantra here is created in the Holy Shriparni Tree Wood which is the permanent residence of his own  Mother – Goddess Sri Maha Lakshmi, it indeed becomes doubly blessed!

It is customary practice in many parts of India to gift it on auspicious occasions like Wedding, Anniversary, Grahapravesh, Birthday, Opening Ceremony, etc. to mark their good intention and to bless with positive energy.

Lord Kamadeva or Kaamdev (also known popularly as Manmatha) is the God of eternal love and desire and is blessed with eternal youth and is easily the most handsome of all the Gods. His bow is made of sticky sugarcane and his scented flower arrows trailing with honey bees are the sum of intoxicating energy and made of five kinds of fragrant flowers. The five flowers are: Ashoka tree flowers, white and blue Lotus flowers, Malligai tree flowers and Mango tree flowers. His arrows are feathered with longing, tipped with love (kama), necked with resolve, and pierces the victim’s hearts with pure and eternal love. This charming deity arouses passion in all living beings and is popularly known as Kamadeva, literally the god (Deva) of desire/passion (Kaama).

Known by a plethora of epithets such as flower-weaponed (pushpayudha), flower-arrowed (kushumesu), one with a flower bow (pushpabana), five-arrowed (panchasara) and flower-bannered (pushpadvaja), Kamadev combines the image of a warrior with that of an enjoyer of beauty and sensuality. He is the sweetness of honey, the fragrance of mangoes, the intoxication of wine, moonlight, and the brisk quality of spring air, who continuously incites passion. His other names include : Ragavrinta (stalk of sassion), Ananga (incorporeal), Kandarpa (inflamer even of a god), Manmatha (churner of hearts), Manosij (he who is born of mind, a contraction of the Sanskrit phrase Sah Manasah jata), Madana (intoxicating), Ratikanta (lord of the seasons), Pushpavan, Pushpadhanva (one with bow of flowers), etc.

There are major references to Love God Kamdev, Kaamdev, Kamadeva in Vedic, Brahamanic and Upanishadic texts (Siva Purana, Linga Purana, Matsya Purana, Padma Purana, Skanda Purana, Brahmanda Purana, Vamana Purana, Saura Purana, Kalika Purana, Brahmavaivarta Purana, Brahma Purana, Anang Upanishad) predating the epic Mahabharata in which Kama Gita (Song of Kaama) is explained by Lord Vasudeva to King Yudishtira, who was in depression after the epic war was over.

This Kamagita, or Song of Kama, found in a later part of the epic, the Asvamedhika Parvan, reflects the attitude toward desire found in many of the Upanisadic writings, that desire must be struggled against and overcome in order to attain moksa. But even more emphatically and graphically than in the Upanisadic writings, this text highlights Desire’s power to trick his adversaries into believing that they have succeeded when such a victory is impossible. Even when Desire appears to be defeated, to be gone, he is simply hiding within the perception of victory.

References to the God Kamadeva occur in both Sanskrit epics, the Mahabharata (XII, XIII, and XIV) and Valmiki’s Ramayana (Balakanda).

The story of the birth of Kamadeva is told in several puranas, but most prominently in the Shiva Purana and the Kalika Purana. Lord Brahma, the Creator says : ” … another amazingly beautiful being appeared out of my mind. He had a golden complexion. His chest was stout and firm. His nose was fine. His thighs, hips, and calves were round and plump. He had blue (blue-black) waves of hair. His eyebrows were thickset and tremulous. His face shone like the full moon. His hairy chest was broad like a door. He was as huge as the celestial elephant Airavata. He was wearing a blue cloth. His hands, eyes, face, legs and fingers were red in color. He had a slender waist and fine teeth. He smelled like an elephant in rut. His eyes were like the petals of a full-blown lotus. He was fragrant like the filaments (of a flower). His neck was like the conch. He had the emblem of a fish. He was tall. He had the Makara for his vehicle. He was armed with a bow and five flowers for arrows. His glance was very seductive, as he rolled his eyes here and there. 0 dear one, his very breath was a fragrant wind. He was accompanied by the sentiment of love (srngara rasa) …”. Kamdev’s wife, Rati, whose name connotes sexual delight or pleasure, is his constant companion, almost always depicted with him. Aside from his seductive wife, Rati, Kama is often portrayed with a second wife, Priti, whose name connotes images of pleasurable sensation, gratification, and affection. The story of Priti, whose maiden name was Karnotpala, is expalined in detail in Skanda Purana. The Skanda Purana also gives details of the most beautiful Purnakala also known as Khandasila, another companion of the god of love Kamadevan.

In puranic literature and art, Kamadeva is associated not only with his two wives, Rati and Priti, but also with other biological and mythical creatures who further define the character of desire. Kama is depicted with two classes of heavenly beings called apsarases and gandharvas, a parrot as his vehicle or vahana, and a mythical water creature known as a makara. Along with his two wives there are two more companions called Vasanta, personification of the brilliant and sense-delighting spring season, and a handsome male flag-bearer having the face of a horse and carrying the makara banner.

Apsarases are heavenly female beings associated with water and air, or more specifically with the water-laden air of clouds. Residents of Indra’s heaven, Swarga, apsarases move easily between heaven and earth and, like clouds, appear in countless forms. The word apsaras is used in the Rig Veda to connote that which moves in or between the waters, meaning clouds. Identified with a more defined role in the Manavadharma Shastra and other texts, apsarases are also known as the dancers of the gods. A prominent apsaras is the popularly known Urvasi, the enchanting seductress as quoted in Satapatha Brahmana and the Mahabharata. Kamadeva commands the charms of apsarases for his purposes; and countless heavenly nymphs await his command. The Skanda Purana numbers the apsarases as thirty-five million, although it specifies that only 160,000 are important, while the Mahabharata speaks of seven times six thousand. These figurative numbers assure us that apsarases are truly countless. Embodying passionate fantasies, disappearing into clouds but reappearing to fan the flames of desire, apsarases are exquisitely effective assistants to Kamadeva, his seductive troops.

Gandharvas, male counterparts and consorts of the apsarases, also reside in Indra’s heaven, playing music for the gods and pairing with the dancing celestial nymphs. In a hymn from the Atharva Veda presenting a marriage ceremony, gandharvas are invoked for their blessing. Gandharvas are also said to have healing powers, particularly the power to restore virility.

Kama’s vahana, or vehicle, the bright green parrot with intently gazing eyes and talkative nature, represents another element of the passion instilled by Kama’s arrows.

Valued and feared, the river-dwelling gharial presents an earthy connection with the god who evokes sexual desire. Possessing long, phallic snouts and bodies containing fats and oils believed to enhance human sexual activity, gharials are graphic symbols of the desire evoked by Kamadeva. His gharial banner (Makara Dhuvaja) suggests feelings of attraction and attractiveness.

The Maras are Kamadeva’s troops, his ganas (paralleling Siva’s ganas) always at his beck and call. As a warrior, Kamadeva needs troops of soldiers for his battles. As a psychological force, Kama’s troops symbolize the force of his power, the force of desire.

The God of desire, Kamadeva is a colorful figure in the Indian tales and literature, but very few sculpted and painted depictions of the god have survived in undamaged condition. Images of Kamadeva accompanied by one or two of his wives were sculpted on the outer walls of major Indian temples. The Bhuvaneshvar temple complex in Orissa and the Kailash cave temple in Ellora preserve such sculpted depictions of the god of love and his wives. Free-standing sculptures and paintings can also be found through out India, with varying details. Beautifully carved wooden sculptures of Kama and Rati stand just inside the entrance to the Salar Jung Museum in Hyderabad. Two colorfully painted six-foot wooden carvings of a robust Kamadeva with sugarcane bow and bright green parrot vahana along with a seductive-looking Rati greet all entrants to the museum. A terracotta murti of Kamadeva of great antiquity is housed in the Mathura Museum, UP.

What is the difference between a 2D Yantra and 3D Yantra?

The difference in the concepts of a 2D and 3D Yantra can easily be understood through a practical and popular example : there are two varieties of Sri Yantra. The first and the most commonly found is the flat, two dimensional, linear form. In this, the entire sacred geometry is drawn on a single flat plane. This concept is called the 2D Yantra. The second variety is the three dimensional one. Here, the Yantra is in the pyramidal form and because of the mountain shape, it is named after the mythical divine mountain Meru. In this 3D version of the plane form, the outlines of the geometry are elevated in gradual steps to form an iconic structure. Thus, if the Sri Chakra is made as a three dimensional figure with length, breadth and height, then it is called Meru Chakra. This concept is called the 3D Yantra. The 3D Yantra is multi folds more powerful than the 2D Yantra.

What is a 3D Yantra? Why a 3D Yantra?

If a 2D Yantra is systematically Cleansed and Energized through advanced Siddha Empowering Techniques, the energy projected in the x, y and z axis will exactly resemble it’s 3D version. This Virtual Yantra is, in fact the REAL YANTRA. In other words, the relationship between a 2D Yantra and a 3D Yantra is that of between the sketch of a building and the building itself. Beyond doubt, a 3D Yantra will be multi folds more powerful than it’s 2D version.

Advantages of the 3d Yantra over the 2d Yantra

(1) In principle, the 3D Yantra has multi folds more power than it’s 2D version – it can receive more energy, store more energy, process more energy and transmit more energy.

(2) The pyramidal structure of a 3D Yantra allows the Attuned Professional to incorporate more sophisticated Programming into it, to exercise better control over the spatial energy and the Chakras of the individuals involved, to achieve faster and better results.

(3) The very Energy Engine driving the 3D Yantra is so very different (than that of a 2D Yantra) that it can accept more complex programming which enables a very long life – a ‘near permanent’ life, unlike most religious 2D Yantras that have very short life span like a year or much less.

(4) Again, the more sophisticated and stronger energy structure of a 3D Yantra can easily support very advanced programming by an Attuned Professional to exempt it from ritual cleansing, milk bath, nithya pooja, daily mantra chanting, prasad offering, etc. This is achieved by time-tested Powerful Siddha Programming Techniques which help maintain the 3D Yantra with stipulated and excellent energy levels 24/7.

Caution : Copycat Shriparni Products can be dangerous

Remedies are all about energy and every physical object installed in home or work place, be they cures or enhancers, or just placed around for their aesthetics and beauty, MUST give out loving positive energy; they should have been created with the pure motivation to benefit someone or to make someone feel good and happy. This requirement becomes even more important when they are Spiritual Remedies and made with sacred material like Divine Shriparni Wood. Badly made fakes and commercially created copycat products hastily assembled together with cheap raw materials will not be effective at all.

Actually, placing metaphysical energy remedies with ill or bad energy in living space or work space can emanate even more negativity than you realize. And far from overcoming and dissolving afflicted and corrupted energy in your space, they could actually generate more negativity instead, defeating the very purpose itself.

Another note of caution : beware of mock Shriparni Wood products that are available cheaply in the market, especially in the internet. Many of them are either pretentious or made of unfit male Shriparni tree wood – divine energy tools like Yantras and pooja articles should be made ONLY out of female Shriparni tree wood. Similarly, the female Shriparni Tree becomes energy mature only after completion of 12 years of age – but many of them are cut down much earlier because of the huge market demand and commercial considerations. Displaying such spurious products might physically look beautiful but will carry unchecked residual energies that will create more energy blocks and accentuate existing negative energies.

Info on Shriparni Tree Wood / Sevan Tree Wood

The Shriparni Tree is as ancient, as pure and as sacred as the Tulsi and Peepal Tree. Ancient Puranas state that Goddess Sri Maha Lakshmi herself is inherently present in the Shriparni Tree. That is why the Shriparni Tree is praised as the Kalpavriksha or Karpaga Viruksham of the Kaliyuga time. Twelve years old Sriparni Wood is believed to be Svayam Siddha (Swayambu) and on completion of the 12th year only it becomes energy-mature. Also Divine Energy Tools such as this (including 2D Yantras and 3D Yantras) should be made only from the Female Shriparni Tree Wood – it is widely accepted that the wood from the Male Shriparni Tree is not suitable for making such sacred products.

The Shriparni Tree belongs to the Botanical Family Gmelina arborea : in Hindi it is called Khumar & Gori Gambhari; in Gujarati Sevan; in Marathi Shivan; in Malayalam Neykumizhu; Adavigummudu in Telugu; Kumbalamara in Kannada; Perumkumbil in Tamil and in English Coomb White Teak. The Ayurvedha classifies it as a Medicinal Plant with properties that pacify vitiated vata, pitta, inflammation, flatulence, malignancy especially leukemia, arthritis and hepato-biliary affections.

Many experienced Vedic Astrologers, Vaasthu Consultants and Purohits recommend many traditional, religious and pooja products made of Shriparni Wood for Health, Wealth, Harmony, Happiness, Mental Peace as well as to correct Vastu Doshas.
